Platform experience
The guest, the review pipeline you manage, and the system that sold the ticket. Protect Events keeps them on the same session.
Your pipeline
You see who is mid-check, who is approved, and who is waiting for your team. The result is settled when they sign up or buy, so arrival is not the first time you meet the document.
Approved
24 years · UK passport · minimum 18

Guest phone
The hosted flow takes your display name, colours and the sentences guests read while they sign up or buy. It asks for a face capture, then a UK, Irish or US passport or driving licence, then a photo with the document in hand. The camera is only used during the check.
Review
Age, expiry, readability and the face match are decided on the rules for that event. When the document layout, print or a possible edit looks wrong, the session waits for your team. You get the reason in plain language, and you approve or decline.
API
Secret keys stay on your server. Create a session when they sign up or pay, give them the URL, and listen for webhooks. The sample below is a ticket check, with the age for that event included.

24 hours to finish. Three attempts. Under-age declines are not retried.
No passport-office or DVLA lookup, and no chip reader. The check is the document and the person on the phone, finished before they arrive.
